We provide better school portraits to schools and daycares in Calgary and surrounding areas in four easy steps:
1: Reach out for a chat and site visit.
With lots of experience with preschools, daycares, grade schools, and kids and adults of all ages, I will create a process that works for you.
2: Picture day! I’ll take care of everything: set up, equipment, schedule, and clean up. I ensure each child has just enough time to shine, with minimal disruption to the day’s learning. (We’re also glad to set a time for staff and faculty photos.)
3: Online ordering. Families will have direct access to their own online ordering gallery, minimizing work for teachers. Parents can select from a couple images and multiple formats. Prices are competitive with other school photographers and there are no upfront fees for families or charges for the school.
4: Delivery. Print packages are delivered to the school for distribution and digital photos are emailed directly to families.

FAQ
Photos can be taken with natural light or with studio lighting, depending on space available at your school. We will work with schools to determine the best location for the photo shoot.
Prior to photo day, we will come to determine the best location for photo day. We will also require classroom rosters, class schedules, a list of special instructions or any sensitive information you think pertinent. Also, if your school uses a mass email system, we would love to take advantage of that once or twice during this process to remind and encourage participation in the program. On photo day, it is helpful to have a parent or staff volunteer to help usher students to and from class.
We work with individual schools to schedule photo shoots any time during the academic year. Our portraits make beautiful gifts to celebrate events and holidays such as Christmas, Mother’s Day, graduation, etc. We can work with you to book your photo day to get your portraits completed in time for these occasions.
We have experience working with students of all ages!
We can accommodate schools of any size. If a school is larger, photos may be done over a few days or our team of photographers may be brought in.
For solid backgrounds, a choice of black, medium grey, light grey/beige and blue is available. Depending on the season and location, having the photos done outdoors may also be an option. We can decide together the best option for your school.
Please note that we do not use green screens.
