How to Order School Photos
Photo days are always so much fun! It’s always my pleasure to capture your kids! It never stops amazing me that this is my job – to take portraits of your kid’s personalities; just as they are.
4 Important Details for Successful Ordering:
1. All galleries are password protected. You will need 2 passwords to access your gallery: a) your general school gallery password and b) your student gallery password.
a) Your general school gallery password will be found in your welcome email.
b) Student gallery passwords are made of the student’s last name (to a maximum of five letters), followed by the current year, all in lower case. For example: smith2024, mcdon2024, or ng2024. For more password examples, please see our FAQ section.
2. To access your student’s photos, please click on the link in your email. Enter your general school password. Once you’re in your gallery, click on your class folder and find your child’s folder and enter your student gallery password (found in Step 1). From there, you will be able to order prints and digital files directly from your gallery.
Here, again, are the steps:
click gallery link in your email > Enter general password > find and click on your class folder > Find and click on your student’s name > Enter your student’s gallery password
3. Please take note of your order due date (as noted in your email and your gallery). This first set of orders will be dropped off at the school. To avoid shipping charges, please order by this date.
4. For digital orders, please check your email for your download link. Please ensure that you download your items right away. Links and access to digital files will not be available after your gallery is closed.

We want your child to be the focus of the photos. Please avoid graphics, large logos and neon clothing. Solid colours are best. All shots are shoulder up.

There are built in discounts for large orders and families with multiple children. These discounts are automatic and no code is required.
Yes. If you miss the first deadline (ship to school deadline), prints and digitals are available for purchase until December 22, 2024. Orders past the initial due date will be mail directly to your home. Shipping ($9.99) will apply. No shipping will apply on digital orders.
To avoid shipping fees, please place your order prior to the first ordering deadline.
After December 22, 2024, prints will not be available. Digital files will be available until January 31, 2025. Photos from the fall session will no longer be available for purchase after January 31, 2025.
No. After the gallery closes, links are no longer active and downloads will not be available. Please ensure that you download your digital files as soon as you receive your download link.
Yes. Please choose the shipping option (starting at $9.99). If you do not see that option available, please contact us at info@bestdayseverphotography.com
An email with a download link will be emailed to you immediately upon receiving your order. Please check your junk/spam folder. If you do not see it, please contact us at info@bestdayseverphotography.com
Watermarks are there for security purposes only. There will be no watermark on digital and printed purchased items.
Please be kind and do not take screenshots of photos before purchasing them.
Our time with each student is limited but our team does our best to check that children’s faces are clean and hair tidy. We also understand that accidents happen. Light retouching is available for a small fee. Examples of light retouching includes small scratches, bug bites, some bruises and sometimes stray hairs. Please reach out to ensure that the retouching is possible before adding that service to your cart.
The short answer:
No. We don’t work with green screens so we don’t have other computerized background choices.
The longer answer:
School photographers fit in two categories: traditional school photographers that focus on artificial backgrounds and offer 1 or 2 different “poses” of your child or modern ones that focus on delivering a variety of images of your child. We fit in the latter category and focus on your child.
Our philosophy and mission is to create authentic child-centred portraits. We believe in showcasing your child’s beautiful personality. All of our work is respectful of your child’s space. Poses are child-led.

Orders made prior to the initial deadline will be dropped off at the school for pick up. Orders will be available approximately 3 weeks after the initial deadline. For example, if you placed your order October 15 and your school deadline is October 21, your order will arrive 3 weeks after October 21.
For clients who have chosen the option to have their order mailed directly to their home, orders will arrive approximately 2 weeks after the order is placed.
For orders placed prior to the first deadline, orders will be delivered to your school/homeroom teacher.
Please note that pick up “at the studio” refers to the place where the photos were taken. In this case, the studio is your school. Unfortunately this wording cannot be changed.
If you have paid for your order to be mailed to your home, then your order will be mailed directly to you.
Yes! At BDE Photography, we specialize in children’s portraits and offer sessions throughout the year at our studio. If you are interested in a future session, please send us an email and/or sign up for our newsletter.
Yes! Signing up our newsletter is the best way to stay in touch and be the first to know about upcoming events and promotions! If the button is not working, please contact us at info@bestdayseverphotography.com to be added to our list.
If you have followed the instructions and you are still not able to access your gallery, we can definitely help you out.
Please send us an email at info@bestdayseverphotography.com Please ensure that you include the following information: Your child’s name, school/campus, teacher/class and session (AM/PM).
Ensure that you are ordering from your main gallery and not from your favourites list.
If you are not able to access your gallery or place your order, please try clearing your browser cache/history. If you are not able to do that, please try a different browser or computer.
Clients will only be able to access digital files while galleries are open and active. After the gallery closes, digital files are no longer available.
Digital files are kept for 3 months from your photo day so we cannot promise they will be available. Please contact us at info@bestdayseverphotography.com and we will try to assist you.
